The Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Great Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya warmly welcome all readers from Vietnam, Libya and other countries to the Website of our  Embassy. This Website has just been constructed under the direction of Vietnam Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the whole-hearted and effective help from Editorial Board - Press and Information Department.
Vietnam and Libya have developed a traditional friendship. We have supported each other during the course of national construction and protection. The friendly and co-operative relations between the two countries have undergone many challenges in difficult times of both countries. At present, given our increasingly improved position regionally and internationally, the two countries is having more and more favorable conditions to exploit the strengths of each economy, boost co-operation, and look forwards to a better future for both nations.
Despite the traditional friendship, the geographical distance between the two countries causes certain difficulties for the promotion of mutual knowledge, especially the latest developments in each country, co-operation advantages and opportunities for businesses of the two countries. With the in information about Vietnam and Libya on this Website, we sincerely hope that the Website would serve as a bridge between Vietnamese and Libyan readers and enterprises, and help further strengthen the bilateral friendly and co-operative relations.
